This 1973 Triumph TR6 was acquired by the current owner in 2013 and underwent a refurbishment between 2017 and 2018. The work included a red repaint, refreshing of the black interior, and the replacement of the clutch, rubber seals, radiator, and various suspension components. The car is equipped with a black convertible top, a wood dashboard, an AM/FM stereo, and dual Stromberg carburetors. It’s powered by a 2.5-liter inline-six engine paired with a four-speed manual transmission, and the oil has been recently changed. The seller is offering the car with a tonneau cover, service records, and a clean New Jersey title in their name.
The exterior was refinished in red as part of the restoration and features a black convertible top, chrome bumpers, fog lights, and Union Jack TR6 decals. The rubber seals were also replaced during the refurbishment.
The car sits on Panasport-style wheels with red TR6-branded center caps and Yokohama Avid tires. In 2017, the brakes were serviced with new rear wheel cylinders and brake hoses, along with replacement front discs, pads, hoses, and calipers. Additionally, a stainless steel exhaust system was installed.
Inside, the cabin is finished in black vinyl, with matching door panels and Triumph-embroidered floor mats. An aftermarket AM/FM stereo powers Pioneer speakers mounted in the side panels of the center console.
The three-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel faces Smiths gauges, including a 140-mph speedometer and a 7k-rpm tachometer. The five-digit odometer reads 65,000 miles, with less than 1,000 miles added by the current owner.
Powering the TR6 is a 2.5-liter inline-six engine with dual Stromberg carburetors, which were rebuilt during the restoration. The car is mated to a four-speed manual transmission, and both the clutch and radiator were replaced.
